FINAL PREPARATION IN PUNTA ARENAS COMPLETE

In Punta Arenas, everything is fully loaded and ready to go. The trailer has been built and is now carrying the Winston Wong Bio-Inspired Ice Vehicle, along with the vehicle arms and skis for transportation to Antarctica and final constuction on the ice. The SSVs are loaded with all the camping kit, vehicle spares, tools, food and warm clothing. The team are awaiting further news from ALE about the timing of their flight. Meanwhile on Antartica, the wind continues to blow the snow off the ice runway and ALE are hoping that planes will be able to land shortly. More updates to follow Thursday morning.
